Suggested Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Darjeeling

On arrival at Bagdogra airport / NJP Railways Station, Our HRPL tour representative will greets you and assists you to get a smooth transfer to Darjeeling by road. This place is extremely well-recognised for it's tea plantations that were established around 1840. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. The day is free for leisure. If you want then you can explore the surroundings by taking a leisure walk or can visit the local market as well. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Darjeeling + Sightseeing

The day 2 is reserved for city tour of Darjeeling where you are going to cover the huge city attractions. Start your day with an early morning visit the Tiger Hill from where you will view the striking sunrise. While returning to the hotel, cover Ghoom monastery that was erected in 1850. Have breakfast at your hotel in this morning and proceed to visit the other attractions. Start visting from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center. Here you will observe the Tibetan craftsmen making traditional stuff such as feather goods, carpet, woolen boots etc. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3

Kalimpong

This morning after having your breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Kalimpong, situated at an altitude of 1250 m. This place is awefully famous for its nurseries and beautiful colorful flowers. The afternoon is fixed to explore the Tharpa Choling Monastery. Treat your eyes to the surrounding beauty. After sightseeing, check-inn to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Kalimpong - Gangtok

This morning after having your hearty breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. This city is a excellent mixure of the old and the new. Set-out for relishing this sightseeing in Gangtok. Beautiful monasteries and stupas are sprinkled all over the place. This day is reserved for visiting Do-drul Chorten- an important stupa, Enchey Monastery - a 200-yr-old monastery and Research Institute of Tibetology. The last visit of the day will be Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom - an inventory where you can have a break for authentic shawls, blankets and carpets. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5

Gangtok + Sightseeing

This morning have hearty breakfast, proceed for continue the remaining attractions in and around the points. Start visiting the Rumtek Monastery also recognized as the Dharmachakra Centre. Also visit is Tashi View Point. From here you'll relish a fascinating view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Gangtok - Phuentsholing

This morning after having breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Phuentsholing, a town located on the border of Bhutan. En-route, you are going to relish the fascinating view of the lush green tea gardens. Situated on the foothills of Himalayas, Phuentsholing is a prosperous commercial hub. The focus point of this point is the excellent amalgamation of Indian and Bhutanese culture. On arrival, check-into your pre-booked hotel. The evening is fixed for visiting Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, a small temple containing various old age Buddhist artifacts. Later, relish a leisure walk around the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7

Phuentsholing - Thimphu

Today this morning after having your breakfast, check-out from your hotel and leave for Thimphu, the capital town of the Kingdom of Bhutan. En-route, you are going to visit Kharbandi Gompa - a striking monastery raised by the Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntsho Choedron in 1967 and then Simtokha Dzong - a small dzong, one of its kind, built in 1629. After arriving in Thimphu, check-into your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8

Thimphu + Sightseeing

This morning after having breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Thimpu. Start visiting from Tashichho Dzong - the Buddhist monastery cum fortress, Memorial Chorten - a chorten constructed in memory of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, Bhutan's 3rd King, Art School, National Library, The Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, Traditional Medicine Institute and lastly, Government Handicrafts Emporium. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9

Thimphu - Punakha + Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Punakha by road. You'll pass through the Dochula pass from where you can relish an enchanting view of Bhutan. On Arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. The first visit of the day will be Punakha Dzong, also famous for Pungtang Dechen Photrang Dzong- the second largest as well as ancient dzong. The other visit of the day will be Wangdue Phodrang for exploring the magnificent Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, located on a hilltop at the union of rivers Punakha Chhu and Tang Chhu. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10

Punakha - Paro

This morning after having breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for Paro, a stunning historic valley that is most popular for its scenic beauty, rich culture, and numerous legends. Check-inn to your pre-booked hotel, after having some rest. In afternoon you'll explore Ta Dzong-constructed during 1951 originally as a watch tower, National Museum of the Kingdom and lastly the Rinpung Dzong- a huge Drukpa Kagyu Buddhist monastery and fortress. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11

Paro + Sightseeing

This morning after having breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Paro. Start visiting from Drukgyel Dzong, now in ruins, this structure is a fortress cum Buddhist monastery. Up next, you'll visit a traditional farm house where you'll get a sneak-peak into the lifestyle and tradation of the locals. The evening is reserved for exploring Taktsang Monastery- a Buddhist sacred site as well as a temple complex and then Kyichu Lhakhang, another famous Buddhist temple. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12

Departure Paro

This early morning after having your hearty breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to the Paro Airport to board your flight for your onward journey.

  • The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines/transport or in the hotels. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to provide the services then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
  • Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels unless and until specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you have to pay the differences.
  • Extra bed/mattress will be provided as per the hotel policy. If the hotel is giving an extra mattress instead of an extra bed it will be considered as an extra bed only.
  • Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
  • Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
  • In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest's discretion whether to take service or not.
  • Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don't carry that with you

  • The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
  • For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
  • Trans n Trip can assist you in processing visa for international travel but can't assure your visa and in case of failure of visa process, the cancellation policy will be applicable and will be charged from client.
