Kolaba Fort

Created by Shivaji Maharaj, this fort is situated at a distance from approximately 2 km from the coast, in the sea. The fort keep only be visited during the low tides. The fort features sweet water well and great temples. There also are barricades, which contains guns facing the sea. The fort is said to be approximately 300 years old. From the entrance cheif, travellers may also find designs of peacocks, elephants and tigers. There also are holy places of Padmavathi, Mahishasura, Fort Deity and other Gods. In 1759, a Ganesh Temple was also created in the front of the sweet water well.

Alibag Beach

Alibag Beach is a famous and large beach of the town. The color of the sand at the beach here is black. The beach rush and excitementstarts right from morning and continues until evening. This beach is one of the major attractions in this region.

Kanakeshwar Devasthan Temple

Situated at a distance of 13 km from Alibag, this Temple is another major attraction to benefit a visit. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The altitude of 900 ft on a hill, one has to climb around 5000 well-paved stairs. This temple premises include various small temples. The icon of the main immortal is of 54 ft in height.
