The divine town of Shirdi in Maharashtra is combines with the 19th century saint ‘Sai Baba’. This small community is situated at a far distance of approximately 100 kms from Nashik. This present-day, it is a flutter pilgrimage center of India. It’s said that Sai Baba entered this village at the age of 16 years. He’s first seen under a Neem tree in a self-dishonored state. All along his stay in Shirdi, which is higher than 50 years, he worked for the upliftment of poor and backward classes. He twist this small community into a great pilgrimage site for devotees. Admitting the early life of Sai Baba was undergroundthrough parable, he is believed to be an avatar of Lord Maha Shiva. He died in the year 1918 and his Samadhi is visited by thousands of devotees throughout the year.
