Suggested Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Siliguri -Transfer to Darjeeling

On arrive in Siliguri at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (68 kms) / Bagdogra Airport (69 kms) our HRPL tour representative will greets you and assists you in taking buttery smooth transfer to Darjeeling. Darjeeling, Home to the World Heritage Train- the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) or the toy train, Darjeeling is alluring hill station. Situated at a height of 7100 ft above the sea level, Darjeeling has fragrant lush tea estates, tranquility in abundance, breath taking scenery, Buddhist monasteries, bustling streets and several striking views. On arrival in Darjeeling, check- into your pre-booked hotel. You can relax for a while. The evening is at leisure or else you can take a leisure walk up to the Mall or visit the local shopping centers to get your hands on some collectible. Return back to hotel, dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 Darjeeling sightseeing

This morning wake-up approximately around 04:00 AM and drive towards Tiger Hill (11 kms) to view sunrise over the Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to the availability of clear weather). One of the great attractions in Darjeeling, this route taking to you the hill, amidst Oak forests, is an awfully refreshing one. It is desirable to start early top save yourself from traffic morass up the hill. When the sun rises after the hill, it brighten the Peak and looks like an orange-colored ball raised. Treat your eyes to this amazing scenery and absorb - inside the tranquility. En-route back, visit Ghoom Monastery- also called Yiga Choeling monastery, one of the Darjeeling's oldest gompas. Acceptance to the Yellow sect of Buddhism, the construction of this monastery initiated in 1850. The statue of Maitreya Buddha, Lord Buddha of the future is the main attraction was here. Upcoming next attraction is the War memorial, lying in the well-maintained garden, belted by Batasia Loop. This memorial is dedicated in the memory of Gorkha martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the wars to save their country. You can also have another option for a ride in the toy train on the loop, offering the enchanting landscape views. Drive back to the hotel, after munching the hearty breakfast, start the second leg of the sightseeing along with Padmaja Naidu Himalayann Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park well-recognized to all around the globe, it's famous for its conservation breeding programs of Red Panda, Tibetan Wolf, Snow Leopards and other threatened animal breeds of the Eastern Himalaya. Take a walk in the sprawling Tea estates to soak-in the clamness and refreshing aroma. The sight of greenery spread all around looks quite claming. The Cable car ride on Darjeeling Ropeway gives you a chance of breath taking views of Rangeet Valley. The white colored Peace-pagoda is a great arcade-like structure is another attraction here that has golden-colored Buddha statues in varied postures. Return back to Darjeeling. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 Same day Sightseeing to Mirik (58 kms/02 hrs)

This day after having a hearty breakfast proceed for the same day sightseeing to Mirik. Situated at an altitude of 1494 m above from the sea level, Mirik is an unconventional destination that is becoming a most famous tourist destination, near to Darjeeling. The drive from Darjeeling to Mirik has a petty scenic spots from where you can stop for photo convenience. With Sumendu Lake in it's middle-point, picturesque Mirik town is blessed with lush tea gardens, landscaped gardens, cardamom groves and the robust Himalayas. Explore the day here, along with in activities like boating in Sumendu Lake and horse riding to relish this point. In the evening, drive back to Darjeeling. On the way back, take a stoppage at Pashupati Market (on right towards the India-Nepal Border). You can get your hands on old-age, souvenirs, foreign goods and other knick-knacks. Return back to hotel in Darjeeling. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 Darjeeling- Kalimpong (49 kms/02hrs) (Sightseeing)

This early morning after having your hearty breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and drive to Kalimpong. Pointed at the foothills of the Himalayas, this lush destination of Kalimpong is situated at an altitude of 1250 m above from the sea level. Giving a relaxed environs for a claim full retreat, Kalimpong bluster of some of the most impressive views of the Himalayan peaks. This bustling town has colonial-style structure and Buddhist monasteries. The clam ness spread all around the place attracts the travellers from all around the world. On arrival at Kalimpong, complete the check-in procedure at your pre-booked hotel. After fresh-n-up proceed for the sightseeing in Kalimpong along with the famous attractions starting from Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir- a Hindu temple with a great statue of Lord Mahavir Hanuman that is near Durga temple, Dr Graham Homes, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham- another picturesque tranquil temple complex in Kalimpong that has temples of Lord Shri Krishna and Guru Mangal Das Ji, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). Situated on Durpin hill (1372 m), Durpin Gompa boasts of being the largest monastery of Kalimpong, formally recognised as Zangtok Pelri Phodang. Dalai Lama, in the year 1976, had sanctified this monastery. The Gompa is 05 kms south wards of the town. When inside the monastery, don't miss the attractive religious murals. From the monastery's terrace, relish the picturesque views of Khangchendzonga. Initiated in 1900, by Dr. JA Graham- a Scottish missionary, Dr. Graham Homes is a school and an orphanage that co-educates children of the workers in tea-estates. The school architecture is Scottish and the assertion has a museum too. Once you get on the top of Deolo Hill, treat your eyes to the fascinating views of the Kanchenjunga, the world's third biggest mountain and the town. There is a well-cultivated park too. Pony rides are offered for kids. After the sightseeing, return back to hotel and dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 Kalimpong- Gangtok (74 kms /0 2 hrs)

This morning after having your hearty breakfast and check out from the hotel and continue driving towards Gangtok, the capital city of the north-eastern state of Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 1600 m above from the sea level, the picturesque and clam full hill town of Gangtok, is recognized to be the one of the most famous travel destinations of North-Eastern Region of India. It's a Buddhist monasteries, generous lush scenery and pleasant climate charisma honeymooners from all around the world. Hold hands your partner's hands and adore the alluring scenery of the town. Gangtok also houses a huge breed of butterflies, and colorful flowers like Orchids and Rhododendron. On arrival at Gangtok, complete the check-in procedure at your pre-booked hotel. Now you can relax for a while. The evening is free at leisure. Or else, you can explore the famous M G Road (Mall) to entertain in shopping and collecting remembrances. Get your hands inside on woolen clothes, Thangka paintings, handicrafts and more. Return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 Gangtok sightseeing

Sixth day of this tour reserved for visiting the major attractions of Gangtok, after munching breakfast proceed for the city sightseeing of Gangtok, start visiting from Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok- a temple devoted to Lord Maha Ganesha, pointed on a small hill on the Gangtok-Nathula Road, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls, one of the great falls close to Gangtok, place amongst a lush green well-maintained Shamanistic- themed park. One of Sikkim's most distinguished temples, Hanuman Tok is devoted to Lord Mahavir Hanuman. This temple complex is well taken care of by the Indian Army. As the temple is pointed on high altitudes, the complex offers mindblowing opportunities for photography as the views of the peaks are sensational from here. Apparently the great stupa of Sikkim, Do Drul Chorten is situated on a hill. This sacred spot was constructed in the year 1945 by Late Truslshi Rimpoche, the head of Nyingma section of Tibetan Buddhism. The golden-colored dome is highlight the structure. You can spot lamas absorbed in their prayers. Established in the year 1909, Enchey Monastery is one of the Gangtok's most famous Gompas. Pointed on a hill, this monastery offers breath taking views of Mt Kanchenjunga. Structure of the monastery is encouraged from a Chinese Pagoda and the images of deities beautify the inner walls. Spot the statues of Guru Rinpoche and Lord Buddha, who are worshipped here. If you're a nature lover, visit the permanent flower show held at the Flower Exhibition Center, another famous attraction. The floral exhibition site is near Ride Park and White Hall, and is a place where you not miss clicking the photographs. This exhibition area has a greenhouse effect and dwell of a huge variety of floral species such as celosia, gerberas, roses, orchids and much more. During the night hours, you can visit the discotheques in Gangtok. Drive back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 Same Day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

This morning after having breakfast, This day is reserved for a same day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake, situated at an elevation of 12,400 ft above the sea level is a glacial lake, which is 37 kms far from Gangtok. This brilliant attraction, it's regularly visited by Brahmin ducks and other colorful seasonal birds. This oval-shaped lake is 50 ft deep and is covered with the snow all around the year. Let your kids can yak rides, there are shops nearby the lake selling Yak cheese. On the banks of the Lake, there is a temple also, devoted to Lord Maha Shiva temple. Click the beautiful scenery through on your camera. Later exploring the Lake site, drive towards the upcoming next attraction of the day Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War temple, approximately 20 kms from here. Originally a war memorial, built in the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh of the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who is the martyr of the Indo-China was of year 1962, it slowly turned into a temple. It was build in 1983 by the Indian Army after the departed soldier appeared in the dream of his soldier friend. This temple made inside the bunker of the soldier and dwell of his personal belongings like photographs. There is a wishing pond nearby the temple. Throw a coin in this pond and make a wish. In the evening, drive back to Gangtok. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 Gangtok to Siliguri departure

After munching the hearty breakfast check-out from the hotel and get on-time transfer to Siliguri - New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport board your flight / train for your onwards destination.

In case we are unable to provide the services then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
  • Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels unless and until specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you have to pay the differences.
  • Extra bed/mattress will be provided as per the hotel policy. If the hotel is giving an extra mattress instead of an extra bed it will be considered as an extra bed only.
  • Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
  • Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
  • In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest's discretion whether to take service or not.
  • Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don't carry that with you.
  • The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
  • For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
